Blast from the past: Thesis pens

Writing a PhD thesis is an ungodly amount of work, and likely responsible for no shortage of grey hairs I didn't have at the outset of thing. Reviewing someone's thesis is a labor unto itself and mine was not a short document at almost 300 pages. Albeit, it was largely bloated due to university required guidelines that make very little sense in the digital age, but who am I to argue about line spacing and margin sizes?
However, as an appreciation for folks who had to deal with, annotate, and fix my several hundred walls of text I turned a custom pen with the two fanciest (and honestly, nicest looking) ones for my advisor and a colleague who read over the text at least several times over.

While they were some of my first pens, I'm still reasonably happy with them.
